The Importance of Lot Control

Sometimes, material that you purchase from a supplier isn’t always up to spec. But maybe you don’t know this until you’ve consumed that material somewhere in your product or worse yet, you find out from one of your customers! With lot management functionality, you get the ability to track that lot of material from the vendor who supplied that material all the way up to the customer who received your end product, reducing the time it takes to notify all appropriate parties and take quick, effective action.
